nutsandboltons - Al Volo - London - SH#15

We ordered lunch in at the office today, and despite my misgivings about ordering a burger from an <a href="http://www.alvolo.co.uk">Italian place</a>, I went for it.  This is the level of sacrifice I'm willing to make for you.

It doesn't look very good, does it?  It's more of a burger calzone or burger kolache than anything else.  That said, it was quite good, despite being take-out.  The burger was solid and almost too thick, medium rare without me having to ask for it, and juicy.  Fontina cheese was good.  Pancetta was on holiday in Rome, apparently.   It certainly wasn't on the burger.  The crust looked overdone but wasn't.  The fries were on the verge of cold, but they were still passable.

6/10 as-is.

8/10 based on how much better I imagine this would be if I ate in, but you won't catch me eating a burger *in* an Italian place.  I have to draw the line somewhere.
