Wiley - Bartlett's - Austin, TX - #3

6/10*
I think this burger had the potential of being awesome. They make their ground beef in house everyday. However, both KP and I ordered it medium and it was well done. I don't make it habit of sending things back unless they're truly bad, so I sucked it up, as did KP. ( To her credit, Jessica (Bartender) noticed the overcooked burgers and offered replacements)
The bun is great and fresh, I would have preferred a leaf of lettuce instead of shredded and onion rings not diced onion. But they were fresh so that's a plus.
If go back, but it's on the expensive side of things so this place will have to wait.
*I think it could easily have been a 8.5 had they served it correctly.

Bonus: Jessica comp'd both burgers ($30) off our tab without us asking for anything as she said they don't charge for anything that isn't perfect. Smart move on her part as my part of the tip she got went from $6 to $13.
With free money burning a hole in my pocket, I was off to Hopfield's then the WhipIn to help the local economy.
